Accessorising Your Kitchen

One of the easiest ways to finish off your kitchen is with accessories; certain items that are exclusive to your kitchen. Here at Naked Kitchens, we’ve got a few tricks up our sleeve to help you create a kitchen that is extra-special.

One way of making your kitchen extra-special is to add an interesting splash back. Whilst many choose traditional tiles or wooden panelling that looks beautiful in a traditional country kitchen, we decided to add something exceptional that really makes your kitchen standout- the aged brass splash back. As seen in our contemporary Ladbroke Kitchen, the splash back has become a very popular item with our customers. With each piece being aged by hand, it means they are entirely unique every time.

The Jewellery of the Kitchen- an odd concept perhaps, but the taps you choose for your kitchen are an element that instantly stand out, and like jewellery to an outfit, are the finishing touch to your kitchen. Whether you choose beautiful brass that adds an ornate element to your kitchen or a modern chrome Quooker tap that makes everyday life that little bit easier.

What about making one of the most used elements of your kitchen a stand out feature? For instance in our Highbury Kitchen, a pop-up extractor was added next to the magnificent multi-burner hob. By adding this element to the island, it allowed maximum wall space to be saved, but also created an eye-catching feature in the middle of the room.

And finally, an accessory that is made right here in our workshop- a beautiful End Grain chopping block. Whilst this accessory has practicality at its heart, it will still be a beautiful feature in your kitchen. Placed near to ovens or hobs for convenient access on top of beautiful timber worktops, or perhaps on a stunning marble topped island as a statement element, the end grain chopping board works fabulously wherever it’s placed.
