Dark stained oak wraps the room, softened by a Meadow Thistle island and Taj Mahal quartzite. Pimlico is a kitchen of calm and confidence.
Pimlico is modern, but not stark. Dark stained oak wraps the cabinetry in a continuous, confident sweep, its vertical grain bringing rhythm and depth. It's minimal, but warmed by timber you really want to touch. Handleless J-groove doors keep everything seamless and composed, letting the material be the star.
At the heart sits an island in Naked's Meadow Thistle - a gentle pink that lifts the scheme without turning it sugary. Topped in Taj Mahal quartzite, it introduces subtle movement and light against the darker oak backdrop. A lowered section creates space for dining, so the island becomes not just a prep zone, but a place to gather.
A long horizontal window draws light across the sink run, connecting the kitchen to the outside. The arched opening softens the geometry and adds a note of architectural elegance, giving the space a feeling of flow.
This is a kitchen that creates a sense of calm. The Bora hob keeps sightlines uninterrupted and a Quooker tap delivers boiling water on demand. A Fisher & Paykel fridge freezer and Miele appliances are integrated seamlessly into the run.
The kitchen is full of thoughtful details, like the integrated book shelving in the island, and storage that disappears into the oak. Pimlico proves that modern design doesn't need to be cold, and minimalism doesn't need to be austere. It can be warm, tactile and even luxurious - and create a calm sanctuary in a busy home.
We are just as happy to fit, or simply supply the kitchen for your contractors to take it from there. Many of our clients are undergoing wider renovation projects, so using the contractor or a local carpenter or fitter can often be the most cost-effective option.
We are now also offering a fitting service in Greater London and the surrounding area, so please enquire with your designer as part of your design consultation and we'd be happy to help!

Do you come on site to measure?
A final site measure is all part of the fitting service, but if you would like us to come and do a final measure if your contractors are fitting, that's no problem. Depending on the complexity of the space and the travel distance from either London or Norfolk, the site measure starts from £250. All we ask is that your room is ready for us!
