Mill House is a beautiful contemporary interpretation of a rustic country kitchen. Shaker cabinets in inky Night Sky, open shelving in Baked Cley, and handcrafted details throughout give this space a sense of timeless charm.
Set beneath original distressed white beams, this kitchen feels steeped in country tradition but with a contemporary edge. The wide layout is full of natural light, with an island at the heart and effortless flow between zones.
Thoughtful little design details elevate the look and feel of the space, from the Armac Martin brass pulls to the subtle sheen of the Mandarin Stone backsplash tiles. The Neff range in a classic cream adds rustic kitchen-style charm.
Countertops are in durable Cemble concrete – a subtle textural contrast to the painted wood. The pale tone helps to reflect light throughout the room and echoes the whitewashed ceiling beams above, enhancing the kitchen’s bright, airy feel.
Cabinets are Naked’s frameless Shaker style, painted in bold, rich Night Sky blue. For contrast, open shelves and glazed units in warm-toned neutral Baked Cley add softness and balance, with interiors painted in a warm Pamment red.
The central island anchors the room, offering plenty of prep space, integrated storage, and comfortable seating at the overhanging countertop. The layout is cleverly ergonomic, with all key functions—cooking, washing, storing—intuitively placed for a kitchen that works effortlessly day to day.
Drinks Cabinet
The bi-fold drinks cabinet is a standout feature, tucking everything away neatly while opening out for easy access. Like every detail in Mill House, it's smart, stylish and built for life.
We are just as happy to fit, or simply supply the kitchen for your contractors to take it from there. Many of our clients are undergoing wider renovation projects, so using the contractor or a local carpenter or fitter can often be the most cost-effective option.
We are now also offering a fitting service in Greater London and the surrounding area, so please enquire with your designer as part of your design consultation and we'd be happy to help!

Do you come on site to measure?
A final site measure is all part of the fitting service, but if you would like us to come and do a final measure if your contractors are fitting, that's no problem. Depending on the complexity of the space and the travel distance from either London or Norfolk, the site measure starts from £250. All we ask is that your room is ready for us!
