Sands End is a kitchen with a lovely sense of ease, and a soft but confident palette.

The design works because of the threads that connect the different elements. The tall Radome cabinetry gives depth and structure, while the lighter Norfolk Dunes base units keep the sink run feeling fresh and airy. The door styles add another layer: V-groove panels on the tall units bring texture, while the J-groove drawers below keep things sleek and unfussy.

The island brings the whole room together, and works hard with bar seating, prep space and open end storage. Its marble-look quartz surface adds movement and light, while aged brass details introduce a warm metallic note.

The tall cabinetry gives the kitchen a strong architectural frame, hiding appliances and everyday essentials behind beautifully simple doors. Solid oak bar handles add a tactile detail. There is also a beautifully considered appliance / breakfast cupboard, with warm timber interiors and open shelving.
The room is open, bright and sociable, with the kitchen flowing naturally towards the dining area and garden beyond.

The palette includes Radome on the tall V-groove cabinetry, Norfolk Dunes on the lower J-groove doors, and warm plaster tones: traditional warmth meets modern simplicity.

The large glazed doors and rooflight bring in masses of natural light, giving the kitchen a strong connection to the garden.Sands End shows how, with a considered approach to colour and to materials, a modern family kitchen can be calm and efficient yet full of character.

The Sands End kitchenette is a compact space with plenty of character. J-groove doors in Old Huns’ton give it warmth and depth, while the oak interior brings a natural, crafted finish inside.
It’s a small room but it feels like a fully formed bar and prep space, ready for drinks, glasses, washing up and all the other busy little things that can keep the main kitchen clear.

The boot room is a lovely example of bespoke furniture built around daily comings and goings. A single J-groove wardrobe in Meadow Thistle provides closed storage, while the oak peg rail, open cubbies and Swallowtail bench panel create a warm, practical spot for coats, bags, shoes and hats. This is the sort of well-designed space that just makes everyday life better.

The utility room continues the clean, simple language of the main kitchen, with J-groove doors and oak interiors, this time in sunny Swallowtail. It’s bright and practical, and pleasingly unfussy — exactly what you want from a room that has to deal with laundry, sinks and the less glamorous side of home life.
