Naked Kitchens' brushed Limed Oak is a celebration of the natural beauty of timber. Stylish and contemporary yet also rustic and homely, it's light, bright and brings a gorgeous element of texture into your kitchen.
Limed Oak is brilliant for introducing a touch of traditional farmhouse warmth to a contemporary kitchen. In our Notting Hill project, Seal Pup White cabinets pair harmoniously with stunning, brushed Limed Oak accents to exude peace and quiet elegance. Smart storage solutions, such as under-stair cabinetry and open island shelving, maintain a calm, minimalist character while ensuring everything is within easy reach.
We're very proud of our brushed Limed Oak finish - it's a style that we developed with a lot of care and work, and it involves meticulous craftsmanship to execute. The results are stunning - and really speak for themselves.
The Glaven kitchen shows how brushed Limed Oak can bring texture, personality and warmth to a kitchen in neutral colours. Paired with white cabinetry, Caesarstone concrete worktops and open shelving, the kitchen has a light, calming Scandi vibe, its minimalism softened by the natural, grainy timber.
If you'd like to know more about the finish, speak to one of our designers, who can also discuss options for using Limed Oak and combining it with different styles.
Limed Oak

'Liming' oak is a traditional technique that involves carefully applying a special wax or whitewash to protect the timber and prevent it from absorbing dirt and moisture. But as well as being a practical treatment, it can look stunning.
Glaven

Naked Kitchens' version of brushed Limed Oak involves a meticulous method that we've developed ourselves. It requires painstakingly brushing the timber to bring out the pores and grains with a beautiful light finish. Elegant and timeless, it's perfect for all kinds of different kitchen styles…
