My favourite project from our portfolio is the Burnham Utility Room. I think it is a great example of a contemporary take on a traditional in-frame design while remaining eye catching and cosy. I am drawn to the way the dramatic worktop pairs beautifully with the rich warm tones and varied textures within the space. I particularly like how each design at Naked Kitchens incorporates a sophisticated beauty while maintaining a strong focus on seamless practicality.

As a designer, what I love about the Hampton Court kitchen is how it balances heritage with modern simplicity. It takes cues from traditional British kitchens but refines them into something calm, minimal, and timeless rather than trend-driven, which really appeals to me.

I’m also drawn to the honest use of natural materials and the furniture-like feel of the space. The bespoke storage and thoughtful layout make it feel personal and designed for real living, not just aesthetics, which is what I value most in good design.

My favourite project from our portfolio would have to be the Highgate kitchen. I love the rich combination of custom-stained walnut paired with the dark worktop, it creates such a warm, moody feel. The bespoke island really stands out as the heart of the space; I’m particularly drawn to designs where the island reads as a beautiful piece of furniture in its own right, while still delivering on functionality.

Wimpole is one of my favourite kitchens because it feels effortlessly timeless. The combination of painted cabinetry, warm oak and thoughtful details like the reeded glass creates a space that's both elegant and inviting. It's a beautiful example of how traditional design can still feel fresh, practical and full of character.

My favourite kitchen in the portfolio is the Camden. The stained oak cabinetry is a perfect example of our appreciation for timber and natural materials, bringing warmth and depth to the space. The soft pink wall colour creates a calm, inviting backdrop that allows the cabinetry’s texture to remain the focal point. Overall, the kitchen achieves a harmonious balance, with each detail thoughtfully considered to add interest and dimension.

My favourite kitchen of ours is the Amner kitchen, as it perfectly blends modern and traditional styles- a trend we’re seeing more of recently. Its bold, unique colour palette sets it apart, while still feeling timeless and highly functional. Details like the scalloped wall units and bespoke shelving add the perfect balance of style and practicality.

A personal highlight from the portfolio would be our Shoreditch kitchen. The industrial design paired with raw brick, minimal interiors and modern appliances shows just how versatile we can be here at Naked. The contrast in colours used too; Seal Pup White on the main run and an island in Dark Stained Walnut really makes the whole kitchen burst with character, despite the initial modern, yet laid back feel.

"The Barnes" is a personal favourite of mine from our portfolio, beautifully blending the timeless elegance of a classic in-frame Shaker
with a modern, playful edge. I’m particularly drawn to the use of honest, natural materials - especially the use of Oak for the Shaker fronts. The contemporary details, from the reeded island panels to the arched fridge housing, truly reflect the client's personality in the space.

The Elmham is a stand-out design for me, perfectly balancing timeless in-frame cabinetry with modern living. I love how the classic, enduring Shaker style is elevated by reeded oak and glass detailing, which, alongside the quartz worktops, keeps the look fresh and sophisticated.

The kitchen brilliantly fuses old and new by incorporating state-of-the-art appliances within its traditional framework. With its practical storage and charming seating nook, it truly feels like the heart of the home - a space that is as functional as it is cosy and welcoming.

The Elmham kitchen blends soft sage-blue cabinetry with warm natural wood for a calm, inviting feel. The bold worktop and splashback add striking contrast, while reeded oak and open shelving bring texture and warmth. A built-in bench seat creates a cosy nook for a spot of mid-cooking reading just enough to finish that chapter!

Nacho 'Chief Happiness Officer's quote: My favourite kitchen is the Wolferton partly because of the name (wolf… a natural fit, of course). The vibrant green colour brings to mind soft, grassy fields, and the reeded oak panel on the back of the island? It bears a striking resemblance to a neatly arranged collection of sticks perfectly suited for an enthusiastic game of fetch!
