Twenty years of building kitchens that outlast the fashions they were born into.
2005
Norfolk
Jamie and Jayne Everett build their own kitchen
After moving to Norfolk in the early 2000s, Jamie & Jayne Everett set out to renovate their own kitchen.
With three young children, they want great value and quality, something that will survive family life, but they aren't willing to compromise on style.
It seems that the only logical (albeit slightly mad) thing to do is to design and build their entire kitchen themselves.
The finished kitchen. The rest is history…
2006
Wolferton
Our first workshop opens in Wolferton
Jayne and Jamie open their first workshop in Wolferton, Norfolk.
When deciding where to set up the foundations of Naked, they opt for the best - and rent the space from the Queen herself. Not your typical landlord!
Wolferton, up and running.
2012
RAF West Raynham
Naked takes flight at RAF West Raynham
The Everetts’ unconventional choice of workshop doesn’t end there
Naked takes flight - and lands exactly where it belongs: a former Royal Air Force base.
Our hangar is still home to our manufacturing today.
2014
The workshop
We invest in our first sprayline and biomass boilers
We invest in our first sprayline, paving the way for today’s totally unique, high-tech approach to painted finishes.
Whether it's an immaculate white, a soft pastel or a riot of bold colour, our uniquely accurate sprayline system means we can create precisely the look you want.
We also invest in two biomass boilers, using our offcuts and sawdust to heat our offices and showrooms.
2019
A new generation
Naked wins Kitchen Designer of the Year and Alex begins on the workshop floor
Alex, Jayne and Jamie’s eldest son and now our CEO, begins working at Naked, right in the thick of it in our Norfolk workshop.
He knows that to make truly bespoke kitchens, you have to understand exactly what goes into them.
The same year, Naked Kitchens wins kbbreview’s Kitchen Designer of the Year Award for the Highgate project - an honour we go on to receive again in 2026!
2020
Manufacturing
We invest heavily in manufacturing
Naked is set for growth - so we make sure our workshop is too. We invest heavily in our manufacturing facility and machinery, with new CNC machines to improve efficiency within the cutting line.
As a family, we're a little obsessed with manufacturing efficiency and quality
It's essential for us to make sure that our workshop is ready to handle the growth
2022
Built for life
"Built for life" campaign launches
We launch Built for Life - our philosophy on making the highest quality, truly bespoke kitchens.
They are beautifully built to handle all that real life throws at them.
We bring this idea to life by creating a few kitchens at their most extreme…
2023
