Pastel kitchens inspiration
Soothing pastel shades can turn even the busiest kitchen into a tranquil haven at the heart of the home. If you love the calmness of pastel colours, from soft blues to pinks to greens, we have some ideas to inspire you. At Naked Kitchens we have our own paint palette inspired by the North Norfolk coast and countryside, or with our bespoke colour matching service we can get exactly the shade you dream about. Here are a few of our favourite bespoke kitchens that use pastels to gorgeous effect…
Pastel green kitchens
Green is at the cool end of the colour spectrum, and light pastel greens can give a kitchen a lovely serene feel, especially when combined with whites and neutrals. In the Dulwich kitchen the cabinets are painted in Naked Kitchens’ Misted Fen shade, giving the Shaker cabinets a contemporary twist.
Pastel pink kitchens
A great way to use pastel pink is as a warmer, livelier alternative to a white or neutral. The Albert Bridge kitchen uses Ladbroke cabinets in a lovely Farrow & Ball pink as the room’s base colour, with our Bramble purple providing the bold colour pop – a combination that gives the space a real energy and warmth.
Pastel blue kitchens
Coastal blues, duck egg blues… Subtle pastel blue shades always have a calming effect, especially when used alongside whites, greys and other soft neutrals for the walls and worktops. It’s basically impossible to feel stressed in a room like the Kew Penthouse kitchen.
