Walnut

Walnut is a gorgeous material to work with - and some of our favourite kitchens have included this dark wood. It exudes that rich, warm quality - and while walnut is just about as luxurious as a timber can get, it's never too 'showy'. Here are a few of the bespoke kitchens we've built using walnut finishes - see if any of them inspire the kitchen of your dreams…

Here walnut is the foundation of an extraordinary blend of colours and materials, with a positive symphony of pinks, purples and golds making for an almost decadent feel (you can imagine absolutely brilliant parties going on in this kitchen…). There's a walnut and brass bar, while the bespoke walnut cabinets feature J-Groove doors and clever integrated storage - so it's a practical space as well as a visually stunning one.

This kitchen just oozes warm, comfortable luxury - and that's primarily down to the combination of the rich walnut fronts with the deep greens of the facing cabinets and the tiled splashback. The walnut doors feature our long, sleek J-Groove handles: the mix of modern styling with the natural beauty of walnut gives the kitchen a unique, timeless feel.

The Chester Row kitchen combines traditional Shaker style cabinetry in exposed oak with contrasting materials like glass, brass and stainless steel. But the star of the show is the island, a centrepiece with a marble worktop and those beautiful walnut doors. It's a natural, country style kitchen with a very sophisticated edge.

Naked Kitchens' walnut finishes

We love working with walnut: we have years of experience in crafting kitchens with bespoke walnut finishes, and all our timber is ethically sourced and sustainable. Frameless or in-frame, we can custom-build the dream walnut kitchen for your life.

By the way, walnut cabinets pair beautifully with luxurious bespoke splashbacks - especially in gorgeous metals like aged brass or antique-style copper. Speak to your designer for more ideas and information.

Questions & Answers

1

Do you fit?

We are just as happy to fit, or simply supply the kitchen for your contractors to take it from there. Many of our clients are undergoing wider renovation projects, so using the contractor or a local carpenter or fitter can often be the most cost-effective option.

We are now also offering a fitting service in Greater London and the surrounding area, so please enquire with your designer as part of your design consultation and we'd be happy to help!

2

Do you come on site to measure?

A final site measure is all part of the fitting service, but if you would like us to come and do a final measure if your contractors are fitting, that's no problem. Depending on the complexity of the space and the travel distance from either London or Norfolk, the site measure starts from £250. All we ask is that your room is ready for us!

3

Where can I see one of your kitchens?

We'd love for you to visit us at either our London showrooms at Bloomsbury or Chelsea or our head office in Norfolk .

4

Do you supply appliances?

Absolutely. We work directly with lots of fantastic partners, such as Neff, Miele, Bora, Gaggenau, Siemens & Quooker, among many others. Find out more on our appliances page
