A modern kitchen with wooden paneling and black accents. It features a white countertop island with two wooden stools, a basket on top, and a hanging light fixture. Dark floors and a woven basket on the bench add to the cozy atmosphere.

Black Core

If you want your kitchen to make an impression, this is how to do it. Naked Kitchens’ unique Black Core timber provides cabinets with a distinctive, supremely smart look. A dyed core in our own Oyster Catcher black runs through the board and is exposed along the edges, in grooves or in door handles. When paired with oak or walnut the effect is seriously striking.

Black Core with walnut finish

In the Blenheim kitchen, Black Core is paired with walnut for a markedly different look. The Oyster Catcher black, glimpsed in the crafted J-Groove door pulls, has the effect of enhancing the naturally rich, deep, woody colour of the walnut. The mix of beautiful materials and joinery makes the kitchen feel timeless.

Black Core with oak finish

The Ryburgh kitchen demonstrates how effective the combination of Black Core and oak can be. The contrast between the warm oak tones and the deep black of the long V grooves makes for a gorgeous look – and the vertical lines also emphasise the height of the cabinets, creating a feeling of spaciousness. Long black bar handles complement the timber grooves and complete the look.

Naked Kitchens’ Black Core finishes

Black Core is one of our favourite innovations – it’s a style that we’ve taken a huge amount of time and care in developing, and we believe the results are stunning.

Questions & Answers

1

Do you fit?

We are just as happy to fit, or simply supply the kitchen for your contractors to take it from there. Many of our clients are undergoing wider renovation projects, so using the contractor or a local carpenter or fitter can often be the most cost-effective option.

We are now also offering a fitting service in Greater London and the surrounding area, so please enquire with your designer as part of your design consultation and we'd be happy to help!

2

Do you come on site to measure?

A final site measure is all part of the fitting service, but if you would like us to come and do a final measure if your contractors are fitting, that's no problem. Depending on the complexity of the space and the travel distance from either London or Norfolk, the site measure starts from £250. All we ask is that your room is ready for us!

3

Where can I see one of your kitchens?

We'd love for you to visit us at either our London showrooms at Bloomsbury or Chelsea or our head office in Norfolk .

4

Do you supply appliances?

Absolutely. We work directly with lots of fantastic partners, such as Neff, Miele, Bora, Gaggenau, Siemens & Quooker, among many others. Find out more on our appliances page
