Beautiful, blue coloured kitchens to inspire

Navy blues, duck egg blues, royal blues and light pastel blues … Blue is a brilliantly versatile colour for a kitchen. We naturally associate it with the sky and the sea - and since blue sits at the cool end of the colour spectrum it can be calm and soothing, so it's perfect for introducing a little serenity into a busy kitchen.

Navy blue kitchens

Dark blues and navies can give a sense of timeless elegance to a kitchen. The Heathwood Gardens kitchen features cabinets in Naked Kitchens' rich navy Blakeney Channel blue paint colour. The space is bright, sunlit and modern, but the dark blues of the cabinets along with the brass colours in the handles, pendant light fittings and taps provide visual depth, as well as a hint of luxury and traditional refinement.

Light blue kitchens

Light blues, coastal blues and duck egg blue kitchen cabinets have a serene, calming effect, especially when used alongside whites, greys and other soft neutrals for the walls and worktops. It's practically impossible to feel stressed in a room like the Kew Penthouse kitchen.

Blue and grey kitchens

Combining blue cabinets with greys can make for a beautiful, traditional look. Grey is a softer, subtler alternative to white as a contrast colour to a rich blue - as demonstrated by the Raynham kitchen. It features classic in-frame Shaker style cabinets in Naked Kitchens' Night Sky blue and Flint colours.

Modern navy blue kitchens

Navy blue can give a traditional feel - but it can also be very contemporary, and even fun and funky when combined with bold complementary colours. The Clarence kitchen uses Naked Kitchens' Blakeney Channel navy blue for the cabinets, which in the sleek, handleless Ladbroke style.

Our own palette of Naked Colours blues are inspired by the North Norfolk sky and sea, from the soft blues of the beach huts running along the Hunstanton coastline, to the deep rich navies of Blakeney Channel and the coastal night sky.

Questions & Answers

1

Do you fit?

We are just as happy to fit, or simply supply the kitchen for your contractors to take it from there. Many of our clients are undergoing wider renovation projects, so using the contractor or a local carpenter or fitter can often be the most cost-effective option.

We are now also offering a fitting service in Greater London and the surrounding area, so please enquire with your designer as part of your design consultation and we'd be happy to help!

2

Do you come on site to measure?

A final site measure is all part of the fitting service, but if you would like us to come and do a final measure if your contractors are fitting, that's no problem. Depending on the complexity of the space and the travel distance from either London or Norfolk, the site measure starts from £250. All we ask is that your room is ready for us!

3

Where can I see one of your kitchens?

We'd love for you to visit us at either our London showrooms at Bloomsbury or Chelsea or our head office in Norfolk .

4

Do you supply appliances?

Absolutely. We work directly with lots of fantastic partners, such as Neff, Miele, Bora, Gaggenau, Siemens & Quooker, among many others. Find out more on our appliances page
