A modern kitchen with a large island featuring a marble countertop and blue cabinets. Three pendant lights hang above. White cabinets and subway tiles adorn the walls. A vase with flowers and a bowl of fruit sit on the island. Large windows provide natural light.

Beautiful navy blue kitchen ideas

Navy is a strong, bold colour in a kitchen: it oozes confidence, but because blue is at the cool end of the colour spectrum it can also be calming and serene. A good navy blue is timeless and completely trend-proof, so a navy kitchen can last you a lifetime. It's especially effective when used alongside whites. Here are some examples to inspire you…

The classic navy blue kitchen

The Heathwood Gardens kitchen features cabinets in Naked Kitchens' rich navy Blakeney Channel blue paint colour which, along with the brass colours in the handles, pendant light fittings and taps, gives the space a real sense of traditional refinement. White marble worktops in white and a mirrored splashback complete the elegant look.

Modern navy blue kitchens

Navy doesn't have to mean traditional - it can also be very contemporary, particularly when combined with bold complementary colours. The Clarence kitchen uses Naked Kitchens' Blakeney Channel navy blue for the cabinets, with eye-catching pops of orange in the sleek, handleless Ladbroke doors.

Navy and white kitchen ideas

A strong navy blue looks even better next to a crisp white. In the Chepstow Villas kitchen the ratio is perfect, with white as the main colour in the wall cabinets, island and tiles walls, and a deep, rich Night sky navy as the secondary colour in the island and (very cleverly) the radiator.

Navy Shaker cabinets

Navy naturally suits a traditional in-frame cabinet style. In a deep blue colour, Shaker doors feel smart rather than rustic - as demonstrated by the Raynham kitchen, featuring an island with classic Shaker doors in our Night Sky navy blue.

Our own palette of Naked Colours navies are inspired by the North Norfolk sky and sea, including the waters of the Blakeney Channel, and the deep dark blues of the coastal Night Sky and Night Harbour.

Questions & Answers

1

Do you fit?

We are just as happy to fit, or simply supply the kitchen for your contractors to take it from there. Many of our clients are undergoing wider renovation projects, so using the contractor or a local carpenter or fitter can often be the most cost-effective option.

We are now also offering a fitting service in Greater London and the surrounding area, so please enquire with your designer as part of your design consultation and we'd be happy to help!

2

Do you come on site to measure?

A final site measure is all part of the fitting service, but if you would like us to come and do a final measure if your contractors are fitting, that's no problem. Depending on the complexity of the space and the travel distance from either London or Norfolk, the site measure starts from £250. All we ask is that your room is ready for us!

3

Where can I see one of your kitchens?

We'd love for you to visit us at either our London showrooms at Bloomsbury or Chelsea or our head office in Norfolk .

4

Do you supply appliances?

Absolutely. We work directly with lots of fantastic partners, such as Neff, Miele, Bora, Gaggenau, Siemens & Quooker, among many others. Find out more on our appliances page
