Heathwood Gardens

By Katie on Feb 12, 2019
Traditional shaker kitchens is something we have always been famous for here at Naked Kitchens. It's what we started our design journey with, and whilst we have created some incredible designs that are more contemporary and unique, we've never forgotten about the ever-beautiful, classic shaker. KBB Retail and Design Awards 2019

By Katie on Jan 23, 2019
We've had a lot of exciting projects happen here at Naked Kitchens, and one that seems to have gained a lot of attention recently is the Highgate Kitchen. An absolutely incredible design, made from beautiful stained walnut with some insane bespoke details. A brand new handle design which is sleek and contemporary, and an island design that simply knocks all other islands out of the water! With walnut legs, an integrated gas hob and a beautiful marble counter top, this island is one of the standout elements of this modern earthy kitchen. Read more

Why Green is Great In The Kitchen

By Katie on Dec 19, 2018
Green is a colour that has been used in interiors for such a long time now. However, it's only quite recently that we're starting to see this translated into kitchen decor. From intense dark forest greens to the softest mint green colour, green is back in the kitchen, and in a big way. Read more

Kitchen Trends and Colours

By Katie on Nov 21, 2018
Every couple of months there is definitely a shift within home interior trends. Preferences start to change and you can see when people start to move on. Often, this is simply colour palettes changing with the seasons, or impractical trends slowly becoming less popular. One of the first trends we've noticed emerging is the introduction of much warmer colour palettes into the kitchen. Whilst bright bold colours have been popular throughout the spring summer time, it is clear that as we are now transitioning into the autumn winter trends, people are looking for the richer warmer tones for their room. We're loving seeing beautiful rusty colours, deeper blues, azure greens and even mustard yellows making their way into the kitchen. These colours look even more beautiful with oak and walnut timber creating an intensely beautiful room. We even love the tones of mustard so much that we've created our own showroom kitchen in this colour! Combining this colour with Inchyra blue and walnut timber has created a kitchen that is so inviting and looks almost retro with its colour palette choices. We're loving seeing these natural colours in the kitchen and can't wait to see more beautiful designs! Read more

Colour Kitchens

By Katie on Nov 16, 2018
Even with summer completely over and the cold winter months settling in, we're still so obsessed with creating colourful kitchens. The beautiful rich intense colours of our Ladbroke instantly give us all of the autumnal feels, with dark forest greens and rich walnut timber creating a beautiful cosy feeling. However, it's not just darker colour palettes that we're loving at the moment, as we've recently designed some absolutely incredible bright, colourful kitchens. Instinctively, we'd normally gravitate to the darker colours on the spectrum to make the room feel warm and cosy, however recently the colours we have been loving have been the opposite of this. Birdie Photoshoot Take Two

By Katie on Jul 30, 2018
If you're a regular reader of this blog, you may know that at the beginning of the year, we provided our showroom to local interiors business Birdie Fortescue as a venue for their spring summer collection photoshoot. Recently we got in contact again with Birdie, as we knew they needed a location to shoot their autumn/winter campaign, and we've just installed some absolutely fabulous new kitchens into our showroom that we thought would be the perfect backdrop! With our incredible bespoke copper splashback as the backdrop for pink and teal pierced votives, these items are able to take centre stage whilst complimenting the matching colours that have been produced from the hand ageing process. Our beautiful island with bespoke end grain worktop was the perfect surface for Birdies new collection of linens. Beautiful purple colours combine incredibly with the pink colour of the island. A unique island that has innovative built-in technology, as well as bespoke storage. The copper handles on the island provide an eye catching statement that complements the linens beautifully. The exclusive artwork that you can find at Birdie's shops look so incredible against our oak wall, amongst the other beautiful pieces from their latest collection. The matte black Lapitec worktop provides a beautiful contrast against the light, pastel collection making everything stand out even more. We would love for you to check out Birdie's products, as we know how beautiful they look in our showroom kitchens, and we know they would look even more beautiful in your own homes! The Brancaster Marshes

By Katie on Feb 19, 2018
The Brancaster Marshes Kitchen is one kitchen design that we have kept under wraps for a while now. Immediately after we released the design on our website, it was locked down for magazine features for many months in advance, and unfortunately have not been able to share it on our social media or blogs. But finally, we can share with you in detail one of our favourite ever kitchen designs, and we think you will love it just as much as we do! Read more
