Luxury kitchen Handles

The best kitchen door handles achieve a perfect balance of functionality and style. A handle should provide one of life’s little everyday pleasures: the simple joy of effortlessly opening and closing a well-made cabinet. But handles are also critical to completing your kitchen’s style. Whether it’s a little dash of luxurious brass or the elegant minimalism of a hand-crafted bar – knobs and handles are the secret ingredient of a beautiful bespoke kitchen.

Questions & Answers

1

How do I clean metal handles on kitchen cabinets?

To clean metal cabinet handles, remove them (if possible), and wipe them down with a cloth soaked in warm soapy water or a vinegar solution. For detailed areas, use an old toothbrush. Rinse with clean water, dry thoroughly, and reattach. For tougher stains, a paste made from baking soda and water can be used.

2

Are kitchen cupboard handles a standard size?

While kitchen cupboard handles come in various sizes, the most common centre-to-centre (C-C) measurements are 96 mm (3.78 inches), 128 mm (5.04 inches), and 160 mm (6.3 inches). Larger sizes, such as 192 mm and above, are often used for wide drawers or pantry doors. Knobs typically range between 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter.

3

How do I measure kitchen cupboard handles?

To measure kitchen cupboard handles, focus on the centre-to-centre (C-C) distance, which is the space between the screw holes. Use a ruler or tape measure to find the distance between the centres of the holes. You can also measure the handle’s overall length and projection (how far it sticks out) if needed.
