Rather than designing a standard fitted kitchen, where all the units are uniform, you can approach it as a room made up of individual pieces of furniture. 3. Don’t be afraid of colour

The English tradition isn’t tied to neutrals or a conservative approach to colour. Many English kitchens use a palette that is muted but warm and inspired by nature: think soft sage greens, dusky blues, and warm pinks and purples – all combined with natural wood tones.
